Our role

Walnut Creek Retaining Walls is an independent website that connects homeowners with local retaining wall contractors. We are not a contractor, engineer or law firm, and we don’t perform, supervise or guarantee any work. Contractors may pay us for project requests or for use of this website. Any agreement for work is between you and the contractor.

Information on this site

Costs, permit rules and technical information are general and come from the sources we cite. They can change and may not fit your property. Confirm requirements with your city or the County, an engineer and your contractor before you build. Nothing here is legal or engineering advice.

Your responsibilities

Give accurate information when you send a request. Check any contractor’s license at cslb.ca.gov, and review contracts, permits and insurance yourself.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for the work, advice, pricing or conduct of any contractor, or for decisions made based on this site. The site is provided “as is.”
